This session provides dental hygiene faculty with practical, evidence-based strategies to improve student performance on the NBDHE. Participants will explore high-impact teaching methods, integrate case-based learning across the curriculum, and implement calibrated assessment techniques aligned with board-style questions. Emphasis will be placed on identifying at-risk students, strengthening clinical reasoning skills, and using data-driven approaches to enhance program outcomes. Objectives: - Identify high-risk content areas and cognitive barriers affecting NBDHE performance - Implement case-based and active learning strategies into didactic and clinical courses - Develop calibrated, board-style exam questions aligned with NBDHE expectations - Use student performance data to guide targeted remediation - Apply faculty calibration techniques to ensure consistency in teaching and evaluation
